We’re always looking for dynamic leaders who thrive on creating a strong team environment. As a Caddie Manager, you’ll be the central point of contact for all caddies—guiding, supporting, and ensuring every detail runs seamlessly. Success in this role means being an exceptional communicator, leading with empathy, embracing the hustle, and sharing a genuine love for the game.

THRIVE WITH CADDIEMASTER
A great Caddie Manager keeps the whole operation running smoothly— leading with confidence, communicating clearly, and staying flexible when weather, tee sheets, or schedules change on the fly. They know how to keep members happy, keep caddies motivated, and coach their team to be sharp, professional, and ready for anything.
YOUR DAY AS A CADDIE MANAGER
EARLY MORNING: PREPARING FOR THE DAY
Before sunrise, the Caddie Manager is already on the move, confirming the tee sheet and pairings, and reviewing caddie assignments for the day. They quickly huddle with assistant managers and starters to run through weather updates, pace-of-play goals, and any special member or guest requests. As caddies arrive, they check uniforms, make sure everyone’s on time, and coordinate the last-minute changes without missing a beat. Finally, and most importantly, a daily Safety Message is delivered to the caddies.
MORNING TEE TIMES: OVERSEEING OPERATIONS
Once play gets going, the Caddie Manager pairs caddies with players, keeps pace of play on track, and smooths out any gaps in the tee sheet. They stay visible around the property, greeting members and anticipating needs while keeping an eye on caddies out on the course, offering quick coaching and handling issues quietly. All day, they’re in constant communication with the golf shop, outside services, and food & beverage teams to keep everything running seamlessly.
MIDDAY: ADMINISTRATIVE AND STAFF MANAGEMENT
Midday shifts to behind-the-scenes work, where the Caddie Manager reviews hours, gratuities, and assignments in systems like UKG, while also juggling recruiting tasks—screening applications, setting up interviews, and handling onboarding paperwork. They check in with caddies on performance or attendance, document feedback, and keep communication tight with leadership by sending daily recap emails covering rounds, staffing, and any notable member feedback.
AFTERNOON: WRAPPING UP PLAY
In the afternoon, the Caddie Manager gears up for the next wave of play, prepping for late groups, afternoon tee times, and double loops. They run training sessions or on-course evaluations for new and advancing caddies, then wrap up the day by confirming all loops are closed out, gratuities are logged, and equipment is returned. Before heading out, they make sure storage areas, staging zones, and locker rooms are clean, organized, and ready for the next day.
EVENING: REPORTING AND PLANNING AHEAD
In the evening, the Caddie Manager wraps up the day’s details—logging round counts, staffing notes, and any issues that popped up. They build the lineup for the next day, check the weather, and review any upcoming events or group play. Before calling it a night, they follow up with members or guests, responding to messages, compliments, or anything that needs attention.
